Haft Feder 128 from the Haft Arms workshop is a shorter version of the Haft Feder 134, created in response to fencers' demand and drawing inspiration from the blade-to-hilt proportions of historical originals. In this case, it is a 1:3.5 ratio, which offers a handle long enough for modern HEMA gloves while retaining the advantages of a longer blade and remaining highly maneuverable.

With a flexibility of 13 kg (±0.5 kg) at 20 cm compression, the well-designed blade is finished with a safe (spatulated) tip. The training weapon ensures exceptional stability and point control, reach, and reliable safety during training and competitions. The manufacturer even specifies the flexibility at the crossguard, which reaches 16 kg at 25 cm compression.

The Point of Balance (POB) 6.5 cm from the crossguard gives the feder excellent speed and control.

With a weight of 1430 g (±20 g), it is a lightweight feder optimized for speed, precision, and control without sacrificing durability.

The 29 cm wide crossguard finished with spherical ends ensures safety and perfectly protects the hands. 

The aesthetic proportions of the sword were optimized according to Peter Johnsson's sword design methodology, resulting in a visually balanced and historically inspired appearance.
