Smallsword REGHT is a very light thrust weapon that evolved from the Renaissance rapier. This weapon was most popular at the end of the 17th and beginning of the 18th century, appearing in France and spreading throughout Europe. It later evolved into the "French dueling sword", from which the Olympic epee and foil eventually developed.

It was used both in military service as an auxiliary weapon until World War I, and in everyday life as part of dress and for duels. Smallsword REGHT features a long triangular blade, round cup guard, and half-rings under the cup. The sword has a maximum length blade and short ricasso, resulting in a total weapon weight of only 450g!

In modern HEMA fencing, various tournaments in the Smallsword category are held according to different rules, with varying tolerances for blade length, weapon model and weight, etc., depending on the historical period studied.

The entire weapon line is designed to be assembled on a standard sports sword blade. This means if you break the blade, it will be easy to replace!
